Blood Bank

The red cross blood bank in chhattisgarh has been established in december 2006. Presently red cross blood bank is having 500 bedded d.k.s. super speciality hospital is operating in the premises. Chhattisgarh red cross blood bank has received the award of excellence for 100% voluntary blood donation in the year 2016.

Here free blood is giving to thalassemia patient. Blood is not demanded for blood in red cross blood bank.

The Central Red Cross Blood Center, C.G. State Branch plays a key role in the voluntary blood donation movement. Presently red cross blood bank are operating in two district of the state, raipur & durg.
